                  Gear Outreach and Partners Touch Lives in Kyereyawkrom

Gear Outreach the philanthropic wing for Gear Entertainment Ghana in partnership with American Ladies, has donated clothing to residents of Kyereyawkrom a farming village in the Biadan community of Berekum East Municipal of the Bono Region.

The team donated clothes to persons of all ages but mostly 0-5 years female children. Others received shoes, toys, candies, bags, amongst others.

In an interview with the CEO of Gear Entertainment Ghana, Mr. Emmanuel George Asiedu, he explained the purpose of their visit "we are here today to be a blessing to the residents of Kyereyawkrom. To the glory of God, we received partners from abroad who are here with us. American Ladies donated all the items. We are much grateful to them and ask for more of this".
The team was welcomed by the village's committee Chairman and organizer at the Kyereyawkrom Health Centre. The rousing welcome was amazing with smiles on the faces of the residents.

Speaking to a member of American Ladies Mrs. Lucy Amoh Ofori said "we are happy this project finally happened. It has been a long while coming. Only God knows how long we have been yearning to do this".

On why this partnership, she said "we have been following Gear Entertainment Ghana for a while and was marveled at the lives they touch with the little they have. We then decided to partner them and now with a fulfilled heart, we pray for strength to do more with them".
Leadership of the village, health staff, teachers and the entire village were grateful to the team for the kind gesture shown them.

Mr. Asiedu finally thanked American Ladies for the partnership and extended appreciation to teachers, health staff, leadership of the village, Dilute photography, Karl Media, alrich24news.com and berekumcity.com for the support.

EIGHT (8) CHIEFS OF BEREKUM TRADITIONAL AREA GAZETTED AS DIVISIONAL CHIEFS IN BEREKUM TRADITIONAL COUNCIL. A number of eight (8) Chiefs in the Berekum Traditional Area have performed their oaths of secrecy to be gazetted as the divisional chiefs of Berekum Traditional Council. A high court judge, Justice Baayeh, on the 6th day of November 2018, led the chiefs to sworn in the oaths of secrecy before a certificates of recognition was issued to the chiefs as a divisional chiefs. The gazetted 8 chiefs has been granted the opportunity and right to be part of any sittings of the traditional council and by so doing, all the 8 chiefs have been approved by the government of Ghana to be part of the judicial committee of the Berekum Traditional Council. Berekum Katohemaa reinntroduces Traditional Akan Games for Children at Kato Community.
