BREAKING NEWS......Fire guts 5 bedroom in Berekum Thursday market

BREAKING NEWS: FIRE GUTS HOUSE IN BEREKUM

Residents of Berekum Mombaza were greeted with bad tidings the morning.
The fire which destroyed  a 5 bedroom house and properties, started around 10:20 am this morning.

It took the timely intervention of the youth within the vicinity to quech the fire before the arrival of Nsuatre Fire Service.

The Berekum Municipal Fire tender is currently not functional due to mechanical fault.
 Some of the affected tenants had this to say as they cry watching their properties being destroyed. 

The Assembly member for Berekum New town. Hon. Boakye Gideon commended the youth in the area for the hard work done to quench the fire.

He pleaded with the government to help replaced the faulty fire truck in Berekum as the situation gets worse by the day.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740. Nsoatre Traditional Council expresses their heartfelt condolences to Otumfour,the family of the deceased ,the widow and the entire Kumasi Asante Kotoko football fraternity.  Nana Hinner Marfo Nsoatre Dabehene on behalf of the Traditional Council at a press conference in Sunyani stated that they  see football as a game that should unite families, villages, towns, cities and countries but what happened  is a disgrace to all football lovers. THE SKY TRAIN SAGA—WIld Goose Chase. The Sky Train project which received considerable media coverage during Nana Akufo-Addo’s regime has resurfaced. This time, a purported amount of 2million dollars assigned for the project cannot be traced( according to Ghana’s Attorney General and Minister for Justice).
