After some days of this exercise by the queen mother, our media team Alrich24newsgh.com interactions with the people can confidentiality state that most Berekum people have commanded their Omanhemaa for such a bold decision to bring back the respect of the traditional authorities in the town. Market women and traders around the Berekum main station toilet are happy to see an ultra modern toilet to be constructed for them as proposed by Berekumman Citizens Association.
The queen mother in her decision to take such an action was that, the MCE, NPP party chairman, MP and the executives of NPP in Berekum have gone contrary to the orders of the traditional council on many counts hence her plans to proof Nananom powers on them to respect them.
She reiterated that this group of people through the Municipal Assembly sued Omanhene of Berekum, Daasebre Dr. Amankona Diawuo II for authorizing Berekumman Citizens Association to demolish the main station toilet for rehabilitation.
The municipal assembly has ignored the orders of the traditional council and has started reconstruction of the demolished toilet without the permission of the traditional council.
She continued that the assembly had no moral right to have sued Daasebre Amankona Diawuo II.
As the Queen mother, Nana Ameyaahene II poured libation chanting the gods of the land against these politicians. Two bottles of shinapp were offered to the gods in the presence of some Queen mothers.
