Chinese Shanxi Sijan Co. Ltd to construct 14km roads rehabilitation in Berekum the golden city

SHANXI SIJAN GROUP CO LTD. TO CONSTRUCT 14KM ROADS REHABILITATION IN BEREKUM.

A Chinese company, Shanxi Sijan Group Ltd has been awarded to construct a 14km roads rehabilitation in the Berekum East Municipal of the Bono Region.

Speaking with some of the residents in Berekum by Alrich24newsgh.com they said they now have trust in the president since he promised 2020 will be year of roads. The project is under phases of rehabilitation of Berekum town roads and will first phase cover 7.80km whiles the second phase will also cover a 6.24km roads.

Some people added that, they are waiting to see the roads being constructed because for the past 20 years nothing of such roads have been done in Berekum.

The contract sum for the selected roads amounted to Ghc16,865,231.60 and is expected to be completed in (18) eighteen months.

Some of the citizens also claims that the numbers of kilometres awarded for construction is very small and call for more roads to be constructed especially Kyirebaa road, Sofo Kyere, Biadan to Senase, Mpatasei, Sofo Kyere to Senase road and other linking roads in the city.

A section of the people also thanked the President, Nana Akuffo Addo, the MP of Berekum East Hon. Dr. Kwabena Twum Nuamah, the MCE Hon. Kofi Adjei and all the political heads who fought for this upgrade of roads in Berekum.

EIGHT (8) CHIEFS OF BEREKUM TRADITIONAL AREA GAZETTED AS DIVISIONAL CHIEFS IN BEREKUM TRADITIONAL COUNCIL.
