Nketia Charity Memorial Foundation Inaugurated at Seikwa to Support Orphans.

                     NKETIA CHARITY MEMORIAL FOUNDATION LAUNCHED.

A non-profit organization based in Seikwa in the Tain District of the Bono Region has donated items such as books, school bags and sanitary pads to over 100 children in the area.

Nketia Charity Memorial Foundation founded by Mrs. Rita Kuma Nkrumah has officially been launched and will operate as a charity foundation to support orphans living in Seikwa and its environs.

Unveiling the vision of the organization, Mrs. Rita Nkrumah; CEO of Nketia Charity Memorial Foundation said that, she has met a lot of orphans and seen how difficult life could be for them. This informed her decision to support them with quality education.
She continued that the beginning of the school might be little but it is her heartfelt desire to always support others most especially, orphans.

She then called on well wishers and sympathizes to come to their aid by lending of arms towards the foundation and made projection of expanding the school to other parts of the country for other unprivileged orphans to benefit.

The foundation currentally has over 70 children under it's care and provides them with a Ghc 3 as daily feeding support.


Mrs. Rita Nkrumah used the opportunity to thank chiefs and people of Siekwa for their support towards her foundation. The traditional authorities have give out a parcel of land for the organization to put up structures.
The CEO again invited organizations and philanthropic groups to assist the foundation to live its dreams.

In conclusion, she said that, the foundation is prepared and focused on promoting girl child education thus why they normally distribute sanitary pads to the girls to encourage them climb higher in education and to boost them to acquir quality education.
She encouraged parents to invest in their wards' education than buying clothes for funerals and attending unnecessary functions.
Some members of the community expressed their appreciation to the CEO of the organization for her bold steps to build an orphanage school from her personal resources and the good intentions to uplift the life of the orphan needy children in the area.
