BOMBISCO MULTIMEDIA SUPPORTS FREE SHS WITH FREE BOOKS

BOMBISCO MULTIMEDIA DONATES FREE BOOKS TO BEREKUM SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS.

The CEO of Bombisco Multimedia in the Berekum Municipality of the Bono Region, Mr Isaac Asare together with his team have today presented a set of magazines and books to be stocked in all the Senior High Schools’ Libraries across the country. This is to help the students to be abreast with current issues in the country.

Presenting the books to the Berekum Municipal Education Directorate on behalf of the CEO, Nana Osei Prempeh Okokroku explained the motive behind the donation and said the books titled, "GHANAMAN NKOSOU" is fully packed with all the current issues trending in the country to augment the free SHS policy by the government.

He said the focus of the book’s production was much emphasised on the current New Patriotic Party's (NPP) government achievement for the past two and half years in power.
The magazine captures the past and present political leaders in the country from the First President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah for educational references, the present Ministers of states and their Deputies, all the 16 Regional Ministers and their Deputies and some public figures in Ghana.

The policies and flagship programs of the current administration led by His Excellency President Nana Akufo Addo-Dankwa and his Vice President Dr Mahamadu Bawumia have all been colourfully printed in the magazine including the Almighty Free SHS, One District One Factory, Planting for For and Jobs, etc.

He said the books have a whole lot on the various regions and their capitals, their main activities to help identify a particular region and their nature, as well as the boundaries of the regions. The Metropolitans, Municipals and Districts in the 16 Regions were not left out and their main towns and villages were outlined in the magazine.
Receiving the Books from Bombisco Multimedia, the Education Director of Berekum Municipal, Mrs. Grace Ivy Ameyaw also thanked the CEO of Bombisco Multimedia and his team for their kind gesture to support the president’s Initiative of Free SHS by way of donating books.

She promised that, the magazines will be stocked in all the libraries of the various Schools in Berekum to encourage the students to learn and know much about their country.

She called on all to support the government programs especially on education which is the bedrock of society.

The Omanhene of Berekum Traditional Area in the Berekum Municipal of the Bono Region Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II has passed on. The announcement of the demise of the Berekum Traditional leader was done today Friday 9th June 2023 by the chief spiritualist of Berekum Nana Komfo Kofi who was asked to take care of the health of the paramount chief but on his announcement, the paramount chief could not make it but joined his ancestors. Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II was a doctor by profession and an active Church elder of the Church of Pentecost who serve the people of Berekum with calm and peaceful leadership who seek to maintain peace and unity after 17 years of chieftaincy dispute during his reign as the paramount chief of Berekum. A Student of Ghana National College from Sunyani-Chiraa Scores 8A's in 2023 WASSCE.  A Senior High Student of Ghana National College in Cape Coast, Owusu Peprah Priscilla who hails from Chiraa in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region has also scored 8A's in the West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).  Her effort and the results she obtained have brought great joy to her family and the people of Chiraa without hesitation wishing her congratulations on most of the social media platforms. She started her basic education at Solomon Bennet Memorial School in Sunyani from her infancy.  Priscilla's family and well-wishers are appealing to the government as a matter of urgency to help ensure the right course of study will be offer to her at her tertiary education level.
