BEREKUM IS SUFFERING FROM POOR TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORK
The people of Berekum in the Bono Region are complaining bitterly as they struggle to get quality telecommunication network connectivity service by the Telcos Network providers in the country.
Most of the Berekum communities are unable to access quality telephone network services from Vodafone, MTN, Airtel/Tigo and Glo.
Some of the communities faced with this communication challenges includes Amankwaa, Domfete, Amomamaso, Nasapor, Mpatapo, Kutre, Biadan, Magazine, Nyametease, Kyirebaa, Berekum Central Business District, Koraso, Jamdede, Ayemom, and other parts of Berekum.
According to the people though the Minister of Finance, Mr Ken Ofori Atta from the mid-year budget review increased the talk time tax by 9% but they have always experience poor network services from their various Service providers in Berekum.
The people of Berekum are again calling on all the network providers to deliver quality services to them else they will boycott their services.
They also called on the government to ensure that, telecommunication network companies provide quality services to the people of Berekum and Ghana as whole since the world is now a global village when it comes to communications and they cannot be left out.
