BEREKUM WEST MP DONATES 1500 MATHS SETS TO BECE CANDIDATES

The MP of Berekum West Constituency of the Bono Region who also doubles as the Deputy Minister of Railways, Hon. Kwaku Agyenim Boateng popularly called Agogo, as part of his annual BECE examination project has distributed over 1500 Maths Sets to all the 37 Junior High Schools candidates preparing to write their Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) coming on next week 10th June, 2019, in the District.
The MP who has education at his heart has been donating the Maths Sets annually as a way of motivating and encouraging the candidates to study hard to come out with the best results in the examination.
Presenting the Maths Sets to all the various candidates in the Constituency on behalf of the MP, the NPP Chairman of Berekum West Constituency, Hon. Peter Asoma Boapong said, the initiative by the MP is to support the candidates in their upcoming examinations to boost their moral to set a high standards to achieve the best grades.
He said, the MP have been contributing towards the education of his Constituents and has already distributed dual desks, computers, jersies, footballs and organized free vacation classes to some school,s will not relent in providing the necessary support towards education in Berekum West.

Hon. Peter Asoma Boapong advised the candidates to desist from examination mulpractices and cheating which can lead to cancellation of their results  and it can ruining their future in education.
In the course of the distribution, the team led by Hon. Peter Asoma Boapong and Madam Doris Asoma, took their time to find out some of the challenges faced by some of the schools.
Hon. Peter Asoma Boapong assured the head teachers that, their common problems identified in their schools will be solved by the MP.
A great joy was expressed in the faces of all the candidates after the announcement broke that a party will be organized for them after the examination by the MP.
The candidates in receiving the Maths Sets thanked the MP, Hon. Kwaku Agyenim Boateng aka Agogo, for his kind gesture to provide them with the Maths Sets to boost them in the upcoming BECE examination next week.
The candidates said that, they have paid heed to the advice given them not to indulge in examination mulpractices but will do well to achieve the goal ahead of them.
They assured the MP that, they will not let him down but do their best to come out with flying colors and will not disgraced him.
Hon. Kwaku Agyenim Boateng, quite apart from education, is also supporting farmers in the Constituency to get better yields as free cashew and cocoa seedlings have given out to the farmers.
He donated Kia Rihno to the farmers last year to transport the farmers to and fro from farm free of charge.
