BEREKUM TRADITIONAL COUNCIL ABOLISHES INVOCATION OF CURSES AND IMPOSES GH1,000.00 FINE ON CITIZENS WHO WILL INVOKED CURSE (DUABO)

The Berekum Traditional Council headed by the Omanhene of Berekum Daasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II together with the Omanhemaa Nana Akosua Ameyaahene III with all the Nananom has passed a resolution on Berekum citizens to stop invoking curses (duabo) in the town.
According to Nananom, Berekum has been bedeviled with curses and it's implications are high and therefore they have decided to put a stop to it to eradicate all evil curses from the town.
The entire Traditional Council agreed on a consensus that henceforth no citizens of Berekum will be allowed to invoke a curse on any fellow citizen and culpits will not be spared by Nananom if caught.
According to Nananom, if anybody is caught  invoking a curse, a fine  of one thousand Ghana cedis  (Ghc1,000.00) and one box of schnapps will be paid to pacify the gods before the curse will be revoked at the specified shrine.

The Omanhene Daasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II is expecting the citizens of the Berekum Traditional Area tol adhere to this order to avoid any punishment whatsoever.
Alrich24news.com speaking with some citizens of Berekum gathered that they also supported the idea of the Traditional Council in putting measures to eradicate curses from the town.
They called on the Nananom to be strict on this order to let sanity prevail in the Golden City. They thanked the Traditional Council for such a nice move to prevent the citizens from invoking Curses.

Omanhene of Berekum Traditional Area, Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II Passes On. The Omanhene of Berekum Traditional Area in the Berekum Municipal of the Bono Region Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II has passed on. The announcement of the demise of the Berekum Traditional leader was done today Friday 9th June 2023 by the chief spiritualist of Berekum Nana Komfo Kofi who was asked to take care of the health of the paramount chief but on his announcement, the paramount chief could not make it but joined his ancestors. Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II was a doctor by profession and an active Church elder of the Church of Pentecost who serve the people of Berekum with calm and peaceful leadership who seek to maintain peace and unity after 17 years of chieftaincy dispute during his reign as the paramount chief of Berekum.
