BEREKUM WEST MP CUT SOD TO CONSTRUCT DRAINAGES AT JINIJINI MARKET

JINIJINI HENE COMMENDS BEREKUM WEST MP AS HE CUT SOD FOR DRAINAGE CONSTRUCTION.


The Chief of Jinjini, the  District Capital of Berekum West District in the Bono Region, Nana Tutu Baffour Asare II has pledge to support the MP of Berekum West at a sod cutting ceremony of a drainage construction works at the Jinijini market by the MP who also double as the Deputy Minister of Railways, Hon. Kwaku Agyenim Boateng. The cost  of the project according to the MP is amounting to the tune of Gh2,000,000.00 and will be completed within a period of six months.
The Jinijini Hene in his speech to commended the MP for the work done for the people in the Constituency, he said, what the MP has done for them needs to be seen by all and should be allowed to continue with the good works come 2020. The Chief in his recommendation said if the MP will keep on with developmental projects nobody will be allowed to contest him, and he will do all his best to let such a person who will contest him be voted out by the people if anybody appears to contest the MP.

He therefore urged the market women to support the project within the period stated. He call on the MP to do more for the people since he is behind him to support all the projects he is undertaking in the area.
The Market women on the other hand, expressed their joy and thanked the MP for his support to seek government interventions to renovate the market gutters and drainage which has been a death trap to the traders and the people who patronized their market activities for past years.
The ceremony was witnessed by the representatives of both two vibrant Associations in Berekum precisely, Berekumman Citizens Association and the Berekum Youth For Accountability and Development who also urged the MP to left no stone unturned to develop the Constituency in terms of roads, health facilities, sanitation, education and other socio- economic enterprises.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
