BEREKUM SENOIR HIGH SCHOOL OLD STUDENTS (BESSOSA) DONATES TO THEIR ALMA MATER

The 2001 year group of the old students of the Berekum Senoir High School (BESSOSA) in the Berekum Municipality of the Bono Region has donated to their former school a 6 brand new streets lights to support the school of their dark environment.
Presenting the bulbs to the school, one of the old students who also double as the assembly member for Berekum Ayakorasi-Dominase Electoral Area, Hon. Charles Owusu, explained the motive behind the donation and said that, this is just the beginning of the old students who completed 2001 to help influence others who have passed through the school to return what the school have done for them to support it. He urged his colleagues old students to also come back with the little they have to see the develepomt of their Alma mater.
The Headmaster of the school, Mr. Ebenzer Ayensu Qwagire also thanked the 2001 year group for their kind initiative to support the school with streets bulbs and urged them to always come to the aid of their Alma mater. He therefore advised the students in the school to desist from the attitude of breaking of bulbs simple because they want to live in dark to maneuver their own way in the campus. He said, next year Berekum Senior High School will be 50 years old and said, an anniversary will be held to that effect to mark the celebrations, for which he made an appeal to all the old students to come and support the school to have a successful celebrations and memorable occasion come next year.
He took the opportunity to call on all BESSOSA to come back to support the school because it faces a lot of challenges that the government cannot bear it alone but needs all hands to be on deck.

EIGHT (8) CHIEFS OF BEREKUM TRADITIONAL AREA GAZETTED AS DIVISIONAL CHIEFS IN BEREKUM TRADITIONAL COUNCIL. A number of eight (8) Chiefs in the Berekum Traditional Area have performed their oaths of secrecy to be gazetted as the divisional chiefs of Berekum Traditional Council. Berekum Katohemaa reinntroduces Traditional Akan Games for Children at Kato Community.
