APOSTLE ADVISES HEALTH WORKERS TO TREAT PATIENTS WITH CARE IN 2019
The founder and leader of the Pentecostal Word Chapel International at Jamdede in the Berekum West District of the Brong Ahafo Region, Apostle Richard Gyasi has today 1st January, 2019 advised workers of health institution and departments to treat patients with care when they visit their facilities.
He said most people in the country are unwilling to visit health facilities for check ups because they perceive health workers are not kind hearted. He said is about time we see our various health facilities as a place of healing where people will feel free to go for their health matters.
He urged doctors and nurses to always welcome patients well to boost their interest to always visit health facilities for their health care.
According to the Apostle, most people have refused to visit health facilities because they perceived to be maltreated. He advised that, from 2019 health workers should do away with the long hours patients spend at the health facilities whenever they come for treatments.
He called on the government to train more doctors to send them to various health facilities to overcome low patient-doctor ratio in the country. In an interview with Alrich24newsgh.com emphasised that the health of the people in the country should not be jeopardise but must attract the needed attention.
