DRUG ABUSE PERSONS ARE BORN ON SPECIFIC DATES-NGO


MENTAL HEALTH AUTHORITY TO PARTNER AN NGO FOR MORE SCIENTIFIC PROVE ON PERSONS WHO ARE BORN ON SPECIFIC DATES.

A social group called Think About Mentally Challenge Person Near You, (TAmeC PenY) an NGO with the purpose of creating an awareness on people born on the 4th,13th, 22nd, and 31st day of every month irrespective of the year of birth to desist from the use of narcotic drugs of all kinds.
This is a new research done by the above organization to help reduce mental problems cause by narcotic drugs. The research is believed to be 100% according to the group.
In response to this, Mental Health Authority letter dated 15th November, 2018 and signed by Dr. Caroline Amissah, Deputy Chief Exercutive, said “we are happy to collaborate with you (TAmeC PeNY)” but need more scientific evidence to that analogy. She said that, the facts cannot be denied that most of the youth in the country are on hard drugs and most of them are having mental issues. However, there is no scientific proof that, their conditions are as a result of them being born in certain dates of the month as alleged by the group.
She called for a more scientific connotations to buttress what the group is suggesting.
Dr Caroline challenged the youth in the country to avoid taking in hard drugs such as Indian hemp aka "wee", cocaine, tramadol and other illicit drugs.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
