MOST. REV. BISHOP MATTHEW KWASI GYAMFI COMMISSIONED MECHANIZED BOREHOLE

BEREKUM-JAMDEDE ST. JOHN'S CATHOLIC PARISH CELEBRATE'S 10TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS

The Bishop of Sunyani Dioceses, Most Rev. Mathew Kwasi Gyamfi has advised Christians to keep up with the good works of supporting the society with all that they have to see the society developing.
Most. Rev Gyamfi made this statement when he joined the congregation of Berekum-Jamdede St. John's Catholic Parish in the Berekum Municipality of the Brong Ahafo Region to commemorates with them to celebrate their maiden 10 year anniversary of the parish.
The parish which comprises of 12 different Catholic Church's from 12 towns with its members over 20,000 came together to celebrate this anniversary.


Most Rev. Bishop Kwasi Gyamfi said after 10 years, the Church has grow and called on them to keep on with their good works and attitude.
He said, what the members of the St. John's Catholic Parish has portrayed clearly shows that they have matured and  understood the work of Christ and are following the steps of Jesus. He urged them to handle their marriages well and advised them to ignored all forms of behaviors that will not auger well as a Christian.
St. John's Catholic Parish at their 10th anniversary celebrations contributed their quota to support the people of Berekum Jamdede by providing them with a mechanized borehole to supply them with water.
Bishop Kwasi Gyamfi cut the sod to commission the borehole mechanized pipe and said, this is just a beginning and believe that, is a lot that the people are going to benefit from the Church in the next years ahead, said the Church will build a clinic or a school to help support the society.
He called on the Church Members not to relent with their good works helping the needy in the society.
He blessed and thanked the whole congregation of St. John's Catholic Parish for the success chalked for the past 10 years.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
