BEREKUM IS THE LEADING TOWN IN GHANA WHEN IT COMES TO MIGRATION TO EUROPE AS VIS ENDS PROJECT CAMPAIGN AT SENASE. VIS Ghana, a Non-Profit Organisation which is based in Italy has ended its 9 years project to campaign against irregular migration in Berekum East Municipal of the Bono Region.  The Organisation (VIS), together with its supporting agencies mandate was to help clamp down the activities of irregular migration amongst the youth in Berekum, therefore, has established an organic soap processing factory and warehouse at Senase as well as training the youth in agriculture to acquire skills in organic farming, rearing of pigs, mushrooms and bees farming,   Speaking to Nana Owusu Fakyiwaa, the Kyidomhemaa of Senase through her hands VIS came to support the people became the pivot for the construction of the soap processing factory in the community and has become the head in facilitating the progress of work at the factory who also has assisted to acquire land for the local people wh

Suhum Zamannamah Chief Adamu Isaah has cautioned the youth in Zongo communities not to allow themselves to be used to cause trouble during the December Elections in the country. According to the Suhum Zamannamah Chief, the phenomenon of politicians using others, especially persons in the Zongo communities to do their dirty work on election day must cease. 65-Year-Old Man Shoots a 25-Year-Old Worker of Qnet over Avocado Pear 🍐 at Suhum. A 65-year-old man Otu Acquah a.k.a Adi Wako has shot the life of a 25-year-old man at Kwesi Larbi near Okorase in the Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region over avocado pear fruit. Unfortunately for them, the 65-year-old suspect, Otu Acquah a.k.a Adi Wako who could not control his anger with the excuse that the victim and his friend were thieves, pulled a gun and shot through the pear tree which the deceased had already climbed, killing him instantly. Police Retrieve Exhumed Bodies Kept at Palace after Ofori Panin Fie Sold a Cemetery to an Investor.   The Suhum District Police Command in the Eastern Region stormed Amanase Chief’s Palace to retrieve skeletons of exhumed human bodies kept at the palace. The bodies were exhumed from the royal cemetery in the community after it was reportedly sold to an investor by Okyenhene Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin to be used for the construction of a fuel station. The bodies exhumed include late chiefs and royals. Two of the exhumed bodies were freshly buried. While one of the fresh corpses has been reburied, the other has been kept at the Suhum Government Hospital morgue. However, the Gyaasehene of Amanase, Obenfo Nana Addo Agyekum Rev. who doubles as Acting Chief of the community decided to keep the exhumed skeletons of late chiefs of the community in a room at the palace. A 50-Year-Old Man Found Dead and Retrieved from a Gutter After Heavy Rains At Nsoatre. A 50-year-old man who got missing after one week was found hidden dead in a gutter yesterday 20th April 2023, at Nsoatre in the Sunyani West Municipal of the Bono Region. Speaking to the media, the Assembly Woman of the area, Hon. Attaa Adwoa said, the man before his demise was moving towards his house but couldn't reach the house because he was over drunk on that day. The deceased wife after not seeing him reported the case to the man's family and the police but after one week, the man was nowhere to be found and later found in the gutter. The deceased decomposed body was later retrieved by the environmental health officers and the police from a gutter at Nsoatre.
