Coaltar Chief Cry to President Akuffo Addo Over Bad Roads. Barima Okekrebesi Asiedu ll, the Chief of Coaltar in the Ayensuano District of the Eastern Region, has said they have had enough of pleasing on deplorable roads for years. According to the chief, major road networks connecting to the capital of the District, Nsawam, Suhum, and Adeiso, have been in bad shape for many years. Our area is called Coaltar but for over 40 years now we haven't seen any Coaltar in their communities. And because of that Chief Barima Okekrebesi Asiedu ll is calling on the government to intervene and do the needful to alleviate the people from their situation. SIX PERSONS STANDING TRIAL OVER THE DEATH OF A SOLDIER AT ASHAIMAN WERE DENIED BAIL FOR THE SECOND TIME. A number of six persons standing trial for the murder of Trooper Sherrif Imoro have been denied bail for the second time to allow for the prosecution to continue investigations into the matter. At the Ashaiman Circut Court, the sitting Judge Simon Gaga said it is prudent that all persons standing the trial be present to help with investigations relating to the matter since is of public interest.  He indicated that investigations are ongoing and when the accused are granted bail, they are likely to interfere with the finalization of the process. Prince Kwadwo Addo Tabiri with supporters in Suhum Constituency as the majority of National Democratic Congress(NDC) supporters in the Suhum Constituency in the Eastern Region massively supported a businessman, Prince Kwadwo Addo Tabiri in his bid to become the Parliamentary candidate to lead the party to the 2024 election.
