Okada Motor Riders Impregnate and Increasing Teenage Pregnancy Among the Girls in Suhum Municipality. The Director of Girl Child Education in the Suhum Municipal of the Eastern Region, Patricia Asantewaa Osie has said the high rate of teenage pregnancy in the Municipality is the result of Okada motto riders. She made this statement at Tetteh Nkwanta, a suburb in the Suhum Municipality where teenage pregnancy is rampant. According to her, the okada drivers are alleged to impregnate soo many teenagers in the Municipality because of some of the financial constraints some of the affected girls go through as a result of school drop. Information gathered also has it that, some of the parents also took money from the motor riders who impregnate their child and this situation is making it difficult for the education directorate to handle the case. Thinkaid Foundation Donates Exercise Books to Deprived Communities in the Berekum West District. A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) by name of Thinkaid Foundation based in Berekum has distributed over 2000 Exercise Books to School Children in deprived communities in the Berekum West District of the Bono Region. The Founder of the Foundation, Henry Kofi Adane emphasised that, the aim of Thinkaid Foundation is to deliver support to people in the area of health, education, poverty, sanitation, people with disability and community development and today's donation was planned to put smiles on the faces of children at Koraso R C (A) Basic School, R/C (B) Basic School, M/A Basic School, Nkantanka M/A Basic School, King of Kings Academy and among other schools in the twin towns to help in the academic excellence among the children. The Parent and Tutors Association ( PTA ) for the Presbyterian Senior High School ( Presec ) at Bechem in the Tano South Municipal of Ahafo Region has donated food items to the school to support the Free Senior High School Policy. Some of the listed items the association donated to the school include bags of sugar, cooking oil, rice, onion, dry fish, ginger, breakfast blow's, and other cooking stuff which coated them an amount of Ghc. 40,000.
