Ibrahim Baba Bukari Elected as Bono East New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman.  The NPP delegates of the Bono East Region has overwhelmingly elected for Ibrahim Baba Bukari for the position of NPP Regional Chairman. Mr Ibrahim Baba pulled 151 votes to beat his main contender the incumbent party Chairman Mr. Thomas Adu-Appiah who got 78 votes. Berekum Senior High School Headmaster Calls For Infrastructural Support from Berekum Citizens.  Affi Yaw Stephen the headmaster of Berekum Senior High School (BESS) in the Berekum East Municipality of the Bono Region has called on the people of Berekum to arise and support the school to build on it's less infrastructure.  He said, the school is faced with a lot of challenges including teachers accommodation, transportation pickup, fence wall, assembly hall among other facilities. According to him because of the lack of teachers accommodation, most of the teachers are residing outside the campus, the security of the students are at stake hence called on people to support the school to build teachers bungalow to accommodate the teachers in the school. He again added that, the fence wall around the school since is not totally fenced has paved way for animals such as cows, sheep etc to break through the school's compound to destroy things there and this is hampering the security of
