GRADUATE UNEMPLOYMENT RATE, CHANGE OF MINDSET IS THE GAME CHANGER - DR. MICHAEL AGYEKUM ADVISES.

GRADUATE UNEMPLOYMENT RATE, CHANGE OF MINDSET IS THE GAME CHANGER - DR. MICHAEL AGYEKUM ADVISES.

In a country where unemployment rate keeps escalating with no hope for graduates and qualified persons, what measure could be done to curb the situation? Dr. Mike Agyekum queries.

Politicians have made promised to solve the prevailing situation when given the mantle but to no avail.

Motivational speaker have on countless occasions given their thoughts on entrepreneurship, but all  seems not to work.

The question is how and what is the next step to take in order to alleviate this canker?

Dr. Michael Agyekum, an entrepreneur and the Chief Executive Officer of MIKADDO groups of company has asserted that finding a solution to unemployment requires one thing and that is the change of mindset.

According to him the world has shifted to a new techological revolution which coincides with mindset, that is to say jobs are created with mind unlike the days where people rely on white colour jobs.

Dr. Agyekum futhering his statement said people who has the mindset of raising adequate capital before setting up a business is of no bases.

He said if people will use their mindset properly regardless of one's educational credentials by creating something,  the unemployment rate would have been either a thing of the past or reduce drastically.

Dr. Agyekum made this revelation at the Ghana Entrepreneurship, Exhibition and  Seminar Week in Accra.

Also at the conference, Mr. Bernard Joe Appiah, Executive Officer, Pentax Management consultancy service limited highlighted on the role of attitude as a relevant tool in business.

He said for any business to flourish one must exhibit a positive attitude to succeed and that has been the chemistry missing in most young people.

The program will end it with a book launch by Nana Dr. Michael Agyekum and here is the invitation to the book lunch which comes off tomorrow 2nd May, 2024.
