Discrimination Among Ghanaians Must Be Avoided - Prof Jens Opoku Agyemang. 


The National Democratic Congress, NDC Vice Presidential Candidate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has called on Ghanaians to stay united and tolerant to promote Peace and unity towards the nation building even in this election year.


According to Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, everybody has a talent and skill to contribute towards holistic national development and urged Ghanaians to tolerate each other’s views as the 2024 electioneering gathers momentum.


She said tolerance remains a key index to measure and a pre-requisite for a peaceful election, and entreated Ghanaians not to undermine each other, but rather see themselves as one people desiring to build a prosperous nation.


She was addressing the launch of the 50th anniversary of the Ghana Adventist Choir Union (GACU) of the Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA) in Sunyani.


She was accompanied by some national executives of the party, NDC Members of Parliament, as well as former ministers of state and ambassadors.


However, the General Secretary of the Northern Union of SDA Church, Pastor Edward Nyarko highlights the need for sacred music to help them bring the seeming chaos in the country down for them to be able to go through free and peaceful elections.


He warned Christians and politicians against not to any ambitious people and political party to use them as a tools to cause trouble and disturb the peace of this country.

The Omanhene of Berekum Traditional Area in the Berekum Municipal of the Bono Region Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II has passed on. The announcement of the demise of the Berekum Traditional leader was done today Friday 9th June 2023 by the chief spiritualist of Berekum Nana Komfo Kofi who was asked to take care of the health of the paramount chief but on his announcement, the paramount chief could not make it but joined his ancestors. Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II was a doctor by profession and an active Church elder of the Church of Pentecost who serve the people of Berekum with calm and peaceful leadership who seek to maintain peace and unity after 17 years of chieftaincy dispute during his reign as the paramount chief of Berekum. A Student of Ghana National College from Sunyani-Chiraa Scores 8A's in 2023 WASSCE.  A Senior High Student of Ghana National College in Cape Coast, Owusu Peprah Priscilla who hails from Chiraa in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region has also scored 8A's in the West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).  Her effort and the results she obtained have brought great joy to her family and the people of Chiraa without hesitation wishing her congratulations on most of the social media platforms.
