"I Have No Plans to Go for Independent" - Albert Ameyaw, Break Silence after December 2 NPP Parliamentary Primaries at Wenchi.
Albert Ameyaw known in the political circle as the People's Messenger has break silence after December 2 ,2023 NPP Parliamentary primaries in the Wenchi Constituency of the Bono Region.
In a press briefing he denied any plans to run as an independent candidate.
My attention has been drawn to several recent misinformation and speculation that my political future in the Wenchi Constituency in particular and the NPP as a whole is at stake.
I wish to clarify that despite the setback and outcome of the primaries in Wenchi, I remain steadfast in my commitment to the shared values of the New Patriotic Party and our corporate quest to break the 8 with His Excellency, Dr. Alhaji Mahamud Bawumia.
He expressed his gratitude to Electoral Area coordinators, Polling station Executives, the Constituency Executives and the Council of Elders in the Wenchi Constituency for their support before during and after the primaries.
He ceased the opportunity to appealed to his supporters to calm down and rally behind the party to break the 8.
According to him there is an internal issues that is (problems) within the party in the Wenchi Constituency which he calls on the party leadership to bring that situation under control.
After talking to people, after watching what is going on it is my hope and prayer that the leadership should come down here and resolve internal party conflict.
Furthermore he said unity was a binding force to breaking the 8, therefore the leadership must carry out due diligence by reflecting on the happenings within the NPP in Wenchi and address it.
