I Pledged to Work Hard to Bring Development- New Gyaasehene of Akyem Tafo. 

Accra Ebony Beach Resort General Manager has been enstooled as the new Gyaasehene of Akyem Tafo under the stool name Baffour Asare Boateng. Mr. Asare Baffour, swore the oath of allegiance to Daasebre Adusei Peaseh lV, the Chief of Akyem Tafo and his elders.


Introducing the new Gyaasehene to the Akyem Tafo community at a Durbar, Daasebre Adusei Peaseh lV congratulated Baffour Asare Boateng for succeeding the late Owusu Afriye  Gyaasehene who died in 10 years ago. He was charged to take up the position given him to ensure the development of the community by partnering with the other sub-chiefs to deliver on his mandate.



The sub-chiefs of Daasebre took turns to advise the new Gyaasehene on what was expected of him as the occupant of the Gyaase stool.


The newly enstooled Gyaasehene, Baffour Asare Boateng speaking with Alrich24newsgh.com news reporter Apelete Kofi-Michel, during his address, thanked the elders for honouring him with such a position and pledged to work closely with the other sub-chiefs to improve education, sanitation and to help create job opportunities for the youth in the area.


He said girls in the area would be assisted to discover their talents and capabilities in various vocations and appealed to guardians to take a keen interest in the education of the girl child to enable them to occupy higher positions in society.













He, therefore, called on the citizens of Akyem Tafo to support him to initiate more developmental projects to improve the Standard of living in the Akyem Tafo communities.

The Omanhene of Berekum Traditional Area in the Berekum Municipal of the Bono Region Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II has passed on. The announcement of the demise of the Berekum Traditional leader was done today Friday 9th June 2023 by the chief spiritualist of Berekum Nana Komfo Kofi who was asked to take care of the health of the paramount chief but on his announcement, the paramount chief could not make it but joined his ancestors. Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II was a doctor by profession and an active Church elder of the Church of Pentecost who serve the people of Berekum with calm and peaceful leadership who seek to maintain peace and unity after 17 years of chieftaincy dispute during his reign as the paramount chief of Berekum. A Student of Ghana National College from Sunyani-Chiraa Scores 8A's in 2023 WASSCE.  A Senior High Student of Ghana National College in Cape Coast, Owusu Peprah Priscilla who hails from Chiraa in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region has also scored 8A's in the West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).  Her effort and the results she obtained have brought great joy to her family and the people of Chiraa without hesitation wishing her congratulations on most of the social media platforms. She started her basic education at Solomon Bennet Memorial School in Sunyani from her infancy.  Priscilla's family and well-wishers are appealing to the government as a matter of urgency to help ensure the right course of study will be offer to her at her tertiary education level.
