Breaking News: Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has resigned as Majority Leader, February 21, 2024.

Information reaching Alrich24newsghblogspot.com is that the Majority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has resigned as the Majority Leader in Parliament.


Our Political Desk reports that in a significant turn of events, Majority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has voluntarily resigned from his role with immediate effect, a decision revealed at a crucial meeting of the majority group this evening. The meeting, held at the Jubilee House’s banquet hall in Accra, was heavily guarded and convened by President Nana Akufo-Addo.






He has finally bowed out of majority leadership in Parliament at long last.


On the contrary, other people are blaming on the manner he was asked to step aside which should have been excited elegantly and is sad for such a person to be force out of his position. 


Hon. Osei Kyei-Mensah Bonsu has since been part of first parliament till this 7th parliament as member of parliament for the Suame Constituency in the Ashanti region. He rose through the ranks to the front bench from the deputy majority whip to the majority leader.

The announcement of the demise of the Berekum Traditional leader was done today Friday 9th June 2023 by the chief spiritualist of Berekum Nana Komfo Kofi who was asked to take care of the health of the paramount chief but on his announcement, the paramount chief could not make it but joined his ancestors.
