Tuabodom Local Gari Processing Workers Calls on Government for Support.
The workers of the local gari processing factory at Tuabodom in the Techiman North District of the Bono East Region of Ghana have called on the government to as a matter of urgency come to their aid.
Speaking to Mr. Peter Gbaedgo, the engineer at the gari processing factory who started the factory way back in 1973 explained that, since that time till date nobody including the government has visit them to support their business.
He said, the gari business has been assisting the women in the town for over the years including the farmers who are in cassava plantations in the area.
According to the engineer who only support the women with his mill to process the gari stressed that, the factory lacks a lot of equipments and with little push, the factory will supply a lot of income to the women who have been working at the local factory for years to process gari to feed Ghanaians.
They therefore called on Ghanaians to come to Tuabodom for more gari since they have been continuously processing gari to feed the nation.
