GRADUATE UNEMPLOYMENT RATE, CHANGE OF MINDSET IS THE GAME CHANGER - DR. MICHAEL AGYEKUM ADVISES. In a country where unemployment rate keeps escalating with no hope for graduates and qualified persons, what measure could be done to curb the situation? Dr. Mike Agyekum queries.  Politicians have made promised to solve the prevailing situation when given the mantle but to no avail. Motivational speaker have on countless occasions given their thoughts on entrepreneurship, but all  seems not to work. The question is how and what is the next step to take in order to alleviate this canker?  Dr. Michael Agyekum, an entrepreneur and the Chief Executive Officer of MIKADDO groups of company has asserted that finding a solution to unemployment requires one thing and that is the change of mindset.  According to him the world has shifted to a new techological revolution which coincides with mindset, that is to say jobs are created with mind unlike the days where people rely on white colour jobs. Kwabena Owusu Aduomi, an Independent Parliament Candidate who contested in the just ended Ejisu by-election on April 30, has challenged that, Ghana does not have any future under NPP government going forward.  In an interview with the media which Alrich24newsgh.blogspot.com captured in his observation about the the by-election,  he said, "he Kwabena Owusu Aduomi contesting with a ruling NPP as a political party cannot pinpoint with any sole projects for votes but resort into buy votes signifs that, this country doesn't have future if this is what will happen under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government in the days ahead.  Source: Alrich24newsgh.blogspot.com

Ejisu By-Election, Lawyer Kwabena Boateng Wins for NPP. The Electoral Commission of Ghana has declared Kwabena Boateng, thd New Patriotic Party's (NPP) candidate, the winner and the Member of Parliament-elect for Ejisu Constituency at the end of the April 30 by-election in the Constituency. Mr Boateng polled 27,782 votes, representing 55.79 per cent while his closest contender, Mr Kwabena Owusu Aduomi, an independent candidate polled 21,536, representing 43.24 per cent of total valid votes cast. Meanwhile, Beatrice Boakye of the Liberal Party had 140 votes representing 0.3% Esther Osei of the Convention People’s Party received 89 votes representing 0.2 percent. Independent Candidates Joseph Agyemang and Atakora Joseph had 222 representing 0.2% and 23 representing 0.0% respectively. The by-election followed the passing of Member of Parliament and Deputy Finance Minister, Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah, on March 7, 2024. Source: Alrich24newsgh.blogspot.com
