Kyebi Apapamhemaa Nana Ama Serwaa Owusua Fofio Urges the Government to Subsidise Sanitary Pads for Students. Kyebi Apapamhemaa Nana Ama Serwaa Owusua Fofio has donated a quantity of sanitary pads to over 400 Kyebi Apapam school girls.  Nana Ama Serwaa Owusua Fofio speaking with Alrich24newsgh.blogspot.com news reporter Apelete Kofi-Michel, said this intervention is to help teenage girls maintain good personal hygiene and to encourage them to stay in school during their menstrual cycle.  She donated when celebrating her 3rd anniversary as a Queen Mother in Kyebi Apapam. She explained that the cost and tariffs on sanitary pads in the country are very high, which makes it difficult for teenagers, especially those in rural communities to buy them. She indicated that the donation was to give sanitary pads to the girls in the school to safeguard and allow them to be in school as it will ease the challenges they face during their menstruation.  She called for a collective effort between paren

A Student of Ghana National College from Sunyani-Chiraa Scores 8A's in 2023 WASSCE.  A Senior High Student of Ghana National College in Cape Coast, Owusu Peprah Priscilla who hails from Chiraa in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region has also scored 8A's in the West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).  Her effort and the results she obtained have brought great joy to her family and the people of Chiraa without hesitation wishing her congratulations on most of the social media platforms.
