Margeret Darko has turned her official residence for the championing of a  parliamentary ambition of a presidential staffer Frank Asiedu Bekoe popularly known as Protozoa.  Apart from using the public property for a private parochial interest, she has been using her office to undermine the member of parliament for the constituency. The Funder of Kaaf University Mr. Michael Aidoo Awards Scholarships to 320 Tertiary Students. The Funder of Kaaf University College, Mr Michael Aidoo, has awarded scholarships package to 320 tertiary students in the Central Region. The beneficiaries would pursue courses such as Business Administration, Communications, Management, Human Resources, Engineering, Law, Nursing and Midwifery, Business and Finance among several others. Mr Aidoo, who is the Founder and Chancellor of KAAF University College and NDC Western North Regional Chairman, said the gesture formed part of his numerous plans to support brilliant but needy students in the Kaaf University College. LANDS COMMISSION  PAYS LAST RESPECT TO THE LATE LA CHIEF, NII DR. KPOBI TETTEY-TSURU III.  A delegation from the Lands Commission (LC) paid their last respect at the funeral of the Paramount Chief of the La Traditional Area, Nii Dr KpoboTettey Tsuru III, on Friday March 18,  2022. The delegation, led by the  Chairman of the Commission, Mr Alex Quaynor commiserated with the bereaved family and members of the La Traditional Council.  He was accompanied Acting Executive Secretary of LC, James Dadson,  Deputy Executive Secretary in charge of Corporate Services ,Jones Ofori-Boadu, Chairperson of the Greater Accra Lands Commission,  Yvonne Sowah, Chairman of Eastern Regional Lands Commission, K.D Osei, Technical Director at the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, Maxwell Adu Nsafoa. Land Commission Removes Bottlenecks in Land Administration. The Acting Executive Secretary of Land Commission, James Kobina Dadson says measures had been put in place to address bottlenecks hampering effective land administration and management in the country. He said part of the measures being taken include decentralisation, digitalisation, staff capacity building, infrastructure development, and adoption of best practices such as operationalization of site-plan and addressing challenges regarding compensations. The Executive Secretary was speaking at a closing ceremony of a five-day management retreat in Accra yesterday organised the land Commission under the theme: Achieving Institutional excellence land services delivery through modern technology, human resource development, and private participation.
