Hon. Bono Regional Minister honoured by Evangelical Presbyterian Church for development. .

EVANGELICAL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH HONOURS BONO REGIONAL MINISTER. The Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Ghana in the Bono, Bono East and Ahafo region has honoured the Bono Regional Minister Justina Owusu-Banahene for her contribution towards the development of Sunyani and the entire region especially on the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. Speaking at a short ceremony in Sunyani on Monday, the Synod Moderator for the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Rev Emmanuel Elisha Attu said her contribution and commitment towards development has been recognised by the church and hence the honour. Speaking at the event, Justina Owusu-Banahene expressed delight on the decision by the church to recognize her works and also commending her for the honour. She called on Ghanaians to be honest in whatever they do and also use their various offices to help improve the country through God-fearing deeds.

Virtual Conference to Introduce Peace Activities Led by Global Citizens in the Pandemic Era. On May 25, 2021, HWPL's 8th Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace was held online and attended by around 3,000 people from 150 countries around the world. This event is held annually by an international peace NGO named Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) in association with its affiliated groups, International Peace Youth Group (IPYG) and International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG).   With several cases of international partnership for peacebuilding projects endorsed by youth and women organizations categorized by each region – Africa, Europe, and Asia, this year’s event aimed to discuss a citizen-led peace movement and cooperation to promote coexistence and harmony in the global community, and to overcome global challenges that stem from hatred, conflicts, misunderstanding, and lack of communication in this current pandemic era.   The event

Chiraa Development Committee Chairman donates bungalow to Chiraa Health Centre on his birthday.

CHIRAA HEALTH CENTRE GETS BUNGALOW. A well furnished self contained doctors' bungalow has been donated to the Chiraa Health Centre in the Sunyani West Municipalilty of the Bono Region.  The building which cost Ghc325,000.00 was constructed by Mr. Daniel Kwasi Asante aka Asaase Aban took the occasion to celebrat his birthday anniversary on Wednesday, 28th April, 2021 to present the keys of the house to the authorities of the centre.  The birthday celebration and donation together attracted a well meaning citizens of Chiraa Adasuakour to the occasion. Present at the event was the Chief and Queen mother of Chiraa; Berima Minta Afari and Nana Yeboah Penni as well as sub-chiefs, the clergy, Sunyani West Municipal officials, staff of the Health centre and people of Chiraa. Berekum tomatoes processing factory gets into operational as fisrt product comes out.

WEDDI AFRICA LIMITED PRODUCES IT'S FIRST BATCH OF TOMATOES MIX PASTE. Weddi Africa Limited a Tomato Processing Factory under the One District One Factory initiative has their first batch of product on the market with the trade name Sweet Mama Tomato Mix.  In an interview with some natives of Domfete, the town where the factory is located and its environs, they expressed a sense of excitement on the successful production. According to them the establishment of the factory will boost their farm production, have an impact on the economic status of the town by creating employment for the youth. The factory located at Domfete in the Berekum West District started about three years ago and later enrolled on the 1D1F program.  The Berekum West District is known for large production of tomatoes in Ghana and the establishment of the factory is to raise production.  Residents of both Berekum East and West are committed to patronizing Sweet Mama Tomato Mix to sustain the factory's progress

Chairman of the Chiraa development committee to donates bungalow on his birthday anniversary.

CHIRAA DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN TO DONATE BUNGALOW ON HIS BIRTHDAY.  The Chairman of Chiraa Development Committee in the Sunyani West Municipal of the Bono Region, Mr. Daniel Kwasi Asante a.k.a Asaase Aban, will on Wednesday 28th April, 2021 in the year of our Lord handover a well furnished doctor's bungalow facility to the Chiraa Health Center to celebrate his birthday. Asaase Aban who happens to celebrate his birthday anniversary on the same day will donate the building to the Hospital as his quota to support the development agenda to uplift the standard of the Hospital. Mr. Atta Frimpong constructs 2km asphalt road for his community.

GHANAIAN CONSTRUCTS 2KM ASPHALT ROAD FOR HIS COMMUNITY. A Philanthropist and native of Dormaa Ahenkro in the Bono Region, Mr. Atta Frimpong has constructed a two(2) kilometer asphalt road at Lashiebi a suburb of Accra near Emef Estate.  The road which was in a deplorable state connects Lashiebi to North Celebrity Hill. Mr. Atta Frimpong explained that, it was out of love for his country that made him exhibit this high sense of patriotism to support his people.  The Managing Director of Ronor Motors advised Ghanaians to take up the responsibility challenge and support in the nation building. Adding that one does not need money to help in the nation building but the little thing you can either by your strength, hands and intelligence will do to cause a change in the lives of others.
