Newly installed Chief of Ankwa Dobro promises unity and development-Nana Kwaku Akuffo I. The newly installed chief of Ankwa Dobro in the Eastern Region has expressed his readiness to prioritize unity and embark on a developmental drive to change the face of the area. His Royal Majesty Otumfo Osei Tutu II, and the Asantehene respectively have paid a very special homage to the people of Berekum in the Bono Region to grace the traditional burial of the late paramount chief Dasebre Dr. Amankona Diawuo II in  Berekum. The visit is the second time in history that His Royal Majesty Otumfo Osei Tutu visited the Berekum land over 400 years ago since the town is the traditional territory of the Ashanti Kingdom. Berekum traditionally is under Asanteman which the late Paramount Chief Dasebre Dr. Amankona Diewuo II was the true son of Otumfo Osei Tutu II, hence had to come to Berekum together with over 50 Paramount Chiefs to observe the funeral and burial of the late chief.  INJUNCTION RESTRAINING ME FROM ATTENDING BEREKUMHENE'S FUNERAL WAS A PLAN WORK-DORMAAHENE   The Dormaahene Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Dr Agyeman Badu Il, who doubled as Bono Regional House of Chiefs President, has confirmed an earlier interlocutory injunction restraining him from attending the burial rites of the paramount chief of Berekum Daasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo ll.  According to Osagyefo, he is not surprised about development and described the injunction as a plan work, therefore advising people of Bono to be vigilant. He added that Osagyefo is never afraid of anyone, he respects the laws of our land so he decided not to attend the funeral. Finally, Dormaahene cautioned the traditional council of Berekum to know he may be needed one day. All the above statements were made at Abanpredease Palace when he (Osagyefo) addressed his people who were ready to attend the failed funeral. Traditional Procession of the Siekwa Omanhene Osaberima Adjei Deberah II together with other Berekum Divisional chiefs to Mourn the Late Omanhene of Berekum, Dasebre Dr Amankona-Diawuo II.
