DORMAA EAST MP PROVIDES FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO TERTIARY STUDENTS IN HIS CONSTITUENCY.  The MP for Dormaa East Constituency in the Bono Region, Hon. Paul Apreku-Twum Barimah has on Wednesday, 26th January, 2022 provided a financial support to a 17 tertiary students from Dormaa East who attends various Universities and Colleges of Education across the country. The 17 students are those who submitted their application for Financial assistance to the Office of the Member of Parliament for support in fee paying in their academic endeavors as students. Below is the List of the Students.  An amount of GH¢19,600.00 were given to all the students who applied to aid them financially in paying their fees which all of them were able to recieve not less than ¢GH1,000.00 the least a student received GOD BLESS YOU HON. A 39-year-old jealous Fetish Priest is in the custody of the Mankranso Police for allegedly shooting a man testicles in a fight over woman at Dwenewoho in the Ahafo Ano South West District of the Ashanti Region. The victim, Kwasi Peter, 25, was said to have been shot on Monday January 24, 2022, after the suspect was accused by the victim of having sexual relationship with his wife. Oforikrom People Crying as their CHIP Compound Abandons to Rot.

The Peole of Oforikrom in the Berekum East Municipality of the Bono Region are crying over their abandoned CHIP compound constructed in 2016 by the erstwhile government. The CHIP Compound which was constructed to serve the people of Oforikrom and other communities who are mostly farmers has since been left to rot leaving the people to cry for their health center to be opened.  It is almost 6 years now after the completion of the CHIP compound, no nurse was posted to the place to serve the people and the Municipal Health Directorate has pay no heed to the cry of the people in the area to open the CHIP compound for use. Aspiring Jaman South NPP 1st Vice Chairman Donates 50 Bags of Cement to Reshape Weighing Center at Gonasua—Tutu Godfred. The incoming Jaman South NPP 1st Vice Chairman, TuTu Godfred has donated 50 bags of cement for the construction of a standard weighing center for the Gonasua Health Center in the Jaman South Municipality of the Bono Region. The philanthropist who uses to organized a communal labour through the Assemblyman of the area for the community has plans to do more for the community if given the nod. He also supported the youth group in the community, that is Gonasua Youth Alliance with some amount of money.
