Madam Afia Badu Donates to Holy Family Hospital-Berekum.

MADAM AFIA BADU DONATES TO PEDIATRIC WARD OF HOLY FAMILY HOSPITAL-BEREKUM.  A philanthropist Madam Afia Badu has donated a number of items to the pediatric ward of the Holy Family Hospital in the Berekum East Municipality of the Bono Region.  Speaking to the media, she said, her donation to the hospital is not the first time but through her benevolent act the hospital now can boost of 4 incubators on a campaign she embarked to called on people to donate to the hospital.  This time she has donated a number of bedsheets and fever gun thermometers to the hospital to support the pediatric ward. On her advice to the nurses, she tasked on them to work seriously to take very good care of patients that comes for treatment at the hospital.  Madam Afia Badu finally called on other organisations and philanthropic agencies to support the Hospital whenever necessary.  Source: Alrich24newsgh.com

Christmas End of Year Services Should be Held Online or In Open Space-GHS.

End of year church services should be held online or in open spaces – GHS. The Ghana Health Service (GHS) is proposing that end-of-year church services should be held either online or in open spaces, as part of measures to curtail the spread of the virus during the Christmas festivities. Speaking on the Super Morning Show, on Wednesday, Director-General of GHS, Dr. Patrick Kumah Aboagye said the Service is dialoguing with churches to see how best this can be implemented. He made the comment during conversations on how to curtail the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the course of the Christmas festivities. He stated that considering how transmissible the Delta and Omicron variants are, holding indoor events is risky. Dr Bawumia launches Policy Guidelines for National E-Pharmacy. The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has launched the policy and guidelines for the National E-Pharmacy programme as part of Government’s ongoing efforts to improve access to and delivery of health care to Ghanaians.
