CHIRAA MY HOME ASSOCIATION MEMEBERS INITIATES STREETLIGHTING PROJECT TO UPLIFT CHIRAA TOWNSHIP.  The concern concern of chiraa,  who have come together to form an association by name Chiraa My Home (CMH) in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region has initiated a Streetlighting Project to beautify the Chiraa township.  The project which was self-funded through members donations, has significantly reduced the darkness situations the town was experiencing. The contribution was drawn from among the citizens of Chiraa both home and abroad especially those in Accra, Kumasi, Sunyani, the UK, Germany, Italy, France, and across the world.  The Chief of Chiraa, Berima Mintah Afari II, has commended the association members for their bold decision to bring about change in the Chiraa Community particularly in addressing the street lighting situation in the town. Palm wine tapper kills 45 year-old wife. Kojo Niñgo, a 60 year-old palm wine tapper has murderd his 50 year-old wife at Insu-Siding near Bogoso in the Prestea Huni-Valley Municipal of the Western region. Speaking to the Assembly member of the area, Hon. Effah Anofo explained that, he had a phone call that a man has killed his wife who is popularly called Tawiah age 45 in the farm and the suspect reported to the family that he has murderd his wife in the farm. According to the assembly member, he organized a team to the farm to search for the body only to found out the lifeless body of the wife meanwhile the man poisoned himself and was rushed to Bogoso Government Hospital for treatment and later reported the case to the Bogoso police of which the body of the wife has been deposited at Bogoso Government Hospital mourge for autopsy whiles the police continues the conduct the investigations. Apprentice's and Artisans hails Dr Gideon Boako, NPP Parliamentary candidate for coming to their aid. Some youth apprentice's and artisan's in the selected communities in the Tano North Constituency of the Ahafo Region on 10th April, 2024 at Duayaw Nkwanta has significantly hailed the Parliamentary Candidate for Tano North Constituency and the spokesperson for Vice President, Dr, Gideon Boako for coming to their aid. According to the youth, most of the apprentices were facing financial challenges which were making it difficult for them to buy working tool's to support their work but now the green light have been show by their Parliamentary Candidate in the area to relief them of such a challenge.
